Dear Mom,

Thanks for the season tickets to the Boston Theatre company for my 24th birthday?!?!?! HUH?!?!?!?! I guess it was a really sweet thought, but who exactly were you thinking of when you bought these for me? I HATE the theatre!!!!! Oh, and people my age like to DRINK A LOT, not go to plays!!! Going to the theatre is something we only do if it involves getting some after..........and since I am single, thats not going to happen.

Thanks.............I guess,
-D

P.S. IM SCREWED!!!!!!!!! How to I go about finding a hot guy in Boston who is willing to go to a play with me? Suggestions welcome!

Guess it show's my true inner nerdiness but I would love a gift like that!
Surely you can scrounge up some hot, arts minded guys in Boston, maybe go hang around the theater department at some university, pick up some hot drama dude.

Yeah D, I mean that gift could be totally cool. You're a cultured person. I feel as though you will be pleasantly surprised. But you gots to be careful for the drama dudes...have you ever noticed people in the theatre like to pretend their lives are much more dramatic than they actually are? (sorry Kell, I wasn't talking about you)

thanks for the advice! I have convinced my roommate to go with me as a backup (in case i cannot find a single hot straight, non-dramatic guy to go with me )

Are you serious? This is the best thing your mom could have done for you (aside from birthing you)! You are in BOSTON, kid. Find a Harvard boy, invite him, make him marry you and GET IT ON.

Theater is romance. Even when you are 14.

Good luck with pending wealthy marriage! Let me know what happens.

I wish my parents would buy me theater tickets....

ps, i was in no way suggesting you are 14. I'm just saying that theater is universal for all ages. love!

Don't give up on us Boston boys yet, I'm not single right now, but if I was I'd completely go to the theatre with a cool chick. Of course, I'd still go out and get drunk with her afterwards.
