I'm a word snob. Maybe unjustifiably so. Here are some words people confuse a lot:

Wary: Cautious, watchful, on-guard
Weary: Tired, lethargic, exhausted
Leery: Distrustful, suspicious (synonymous with wary)

Ravage: Destroy, devastate, pillage
Ravish: To forcefully take, violate, rape
